“ 44% of students drop out of college due to financial reasons”

SHAMLA provides Financial Assistance to those who help themselves

44% of youth who aren’t enrolled for higher studies cited financial reasons as the primary cause.

SHAMLA offers Financial Assistance up to Rs 50000/- Per student towards the fees for higher studies or for employment-oriented skill development courses for students passing out of 10th & 12th Standard.

Shamla Financial Assistance (SFA) is different in the sense that it not only offers Financial assistance but would also intend to handhold the child till employment. For this, it will also arrange aptitude & personality tests, career guidance, and mentorship for the awardees.

SHAMLA ‘s eligibility criteria and selection process are also different as it is not solely based on the marks scored by the Student but also on a host of other factors that give a fair chance to mediocre also. SHAMLA like to support those with die-hard attitude with self-dependence beliefs. SHAMLA would consider its mission successful if some of its Awardees turn out to be Winners of tomorrow

Shamla’s financial assistance would help those underprivileged students, who may not be rankers but exhibit hard work and a strong WILL, to study further or acquire employment-oriented skills to forge ahead against all odds.

I saw many deserving and determined students who possessed the desire to receive higher education. However, could not due to financial restrictions. Thereby, bringing the SHAMLA scholarship to help underprivileged children to break the heavy chain of student debt and ensure completion of higher education making them job-ready
